winning the Saluki Miler, Open Water 5K, and the 500- and 1000-yard
freestyle in a tri-meet with Miami (OH) and Evansville...Won seven
events on the year...Finished fifth in all three of his events at the MAC
Championships, the 500-yard freestyle, the 1650-yard freestyle and the
400-yard individual medley...Qualified for the London Olympics in the
10-kilometer open-water swim and placed 18th.

Second-team All-Conference selection…Competed in 12 meets…
Competed at the USA Swimming National Championships, placing 19th
of 45 swimmers in the 1650 freestyle…Picked up 11 wins on the season…
Posted two top-five finishes at the MAC Championships, one in the 400
IM (fifth) and one in the 1650 freestyle (second)...Transferred to SIU from
Florida.

Competed in open water events...Made the Beijing Olympics for the 10K...

at the conference championships, also taking the crown in the 400 IM...
Four-time MVC Swimmer of the Week and eventual First-Team All-MVC

Named Counsilman Hunsaker Division I National Collegiate Swimmer
of the Week by CollegeSwimming.com following her performance at
